The following provides links to resources for beverage and cannabis/hemp guidelines in the United States.

Overall Regulations

  • Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB): The TTB regulates the production, labeling, and marketing of alcoholic beverages. While not directly involved with cannabis, their website provides valuable information on product labeling, packaging, and licensing requirements that could be helpful for understanding general beverage regulations. Visit: https://www.ttb.gov/
  • Beverage Industry Associations: Trade associations like the American Beverage Association (ABA) offer industry news, updates on regulatory developments, and resources for beverage producers. Visit: https://www.americanbeverage.org/.

Hemp Specific Regulations

  • U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA): The USDA oversees the cultivation and processing of hemp through their Domestic Hemp Production Program. Their website offers resources on licensing, compliance requirements, and testing standards for hemp. Visit: https://www.ams.usda.gov/rules-regulations/hemp
  • 2018 Farm Bill

State Regulatory Agencies

Individual states have varying regulations regarding cannabis and hemp.

National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL): The NCSL provides a helpful compilation of state cannabis laws and regulations: https://www.ncsl.org/health/state-cannabis-policy-enactment-database

To access specific legal frameworks and licensing procedures, visit the official websites of the relevant state regulatory agencies.
